Tarn No. 1 is a sculptural catchall hand-cast in Australia from marbled mineral composite. Named after a mountain lake formed by glacial erosion, its soft contours and shallow hollow evoke landscapes shaped gradually by time.
 
Each piece is individually cast and hand-finished, creating unique mineral veining that can never be repeated. No two are exactly alike. The marbling flows through the form like exposed strata, making every Tarn No. 1 a one-of-a-kind functional artwork.
 
Designed to sit comfortably between sculpture and utility, Tarn No. 1 can be used to hold jewellery, treasured objects, keys or small daily essentials, while also standing alone as a contemporary decorative object.
 
Part of the Guseli Design collection, Tarn No. 1 celebrates material variation, geological forms and the beauty of objects made slowly by hand.
