The Lithic Pen Alcove transforms the everyday pen holder into a small sculptural object, bringing beauty and intention to the working landscape.
 
Hand-cast in mineral composite, its softly irregular form feels discovered rather than designed: rounded edges, subtle undulations and flowing mineral-like veining giving each piece the character of a tiny geological formation.
 
Pens and pencils gather naturally within its recessed centre, held close at hand without the visual clutter of a conventional desk organiser. Empty, it remains an object worth looking at, a small piece of sculpture for the desk, bedside table or creative space.
 
Each Pen Alcove is individually cast and finished by hand in the Guseli Design studio in Queensland, Australia. The veining develops organically during the casting process, meaning no two pieces will ever be identical.
