Formed, not repeated.
Lithic began with a fascination for the marks that time leaves behind: mineral seams, shifting strata, weathered surfaces and forms made beautiful through irregularity.
Each object is hand-cast in mineral composite, allowing colour to travel through the material in ways that can be guided, but never entirely controlled.
The result is a collection in which repetition is impossible.
Every pour creates something that has never existed before, and will not exist again.
Made slowly. Made here.
Every Lithic object is individually cast and finished by hand in Queensland, Australia.
The slight irregularities, shifts in surface and unpredictable movement of colour aren't corrected away. They're evidence of process, material and the hands that made the piece.
Perfect sameness was never the point.
