The Lithic Sculptural Weight is a small, tactile sculpture created for the desk, the hand, and those moments when doing nothing for a moment is precisely the point.
 
Hand-cast in mineral composite, the Lithic Sculptural Weight is a functional designer paperweight and sculptural desk object, giving everyday papers, notes and documents a place beneath something made to be seen.
 
Use it as a beautifully substantial paperweight. Pick it up while thinking, reading or talking. Turn it in your hand and notice a different line, surface or detail. Or simply allow it to inhabit your desk as an object that needs no purpose beyond being beautiful.
 
There is something wonderfully analogue about its presence beside the screens, cables and machinery of contemporary life. A little weight. A little stillness. Something made to be touched.
 
Each Lithic Sculptural Weight is individually cast and finished by hand in the Guseli Design studio in Queensland, Australia.
